The paleo approach removes foods that arrived with agriculture — grains, legumes, refined sugar, seed oils — and emphasizes whole, nutrient-dense foods humans evolved eating.

The Core Plate

Grass-fed meats, wild fish, pasture eggs, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, and healthy fats (olive oil, avocado, coconut). Dairy is personal-tolerance; many do well with full-fat, grass-fed.

Why It Works

Higher protein and fiber, lower glycemic load, and elimination of inflammatory seed oils and refined carbs. This tends to improve body composition, triglycerides, and markers of metabolic health.

It's not historical reenactment — it's a framework. Quality and sustainability matter more than rigid rules.
